Working in both small groups and individually, you’ll enjoy a mix of lectures and practicals as you work through progressive modules, including:

• Human Epidemiology and Pathophysiology: delving into how diseases develop, who is affected and why.
• Advances in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology: addressing how emerging discoveries in molecular biology are applied to clinical benefit and exploring the ethical implications.
• The Brain in Health and Disease: uncovering cutting-edge brain imaging and plasticity theories.

In Year 3, you’ll have the chance to shape your own studies by conducting research on a self-selected topic. This enables you to explore and develop current knowledge in a chosen area of biomedical science before you graduate.
