Specialist clinic area will cover, sports injuries, biomechanics, paediatrics, surgery and more. You will be part of the 4-year Podiatric Medicine programme. You will have the opportunity to apply for the new program component focusing on administering medicine to patients.

This pain can lead to discomfort in the back and joints by altering how you stand, walk, and run. Podiatrists are crucial for sports injuries, paediatric concerns, diabetes, and more. Due to shortages, the field's demand is strong, as noted on the government's Skills Priority List.

Career Opportunities

On completion of this Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine programme from the University of Newcastle, you’ll be able to work in a range of health environments, such as general or specialised podiatry practice (e.g sports podiatry), private and public practices, hospitals, rehabilitation and community health centres, sports clinics, research centres and consultancy.
