The Office of Student Advocacy provides free and confidential assistance in navigating the rules and regulations of the University. Student Advocates provide an understanding ear regarding your issues, as well as information and advice about policies and procedures.
Our campus is a wonderful mix of award winning, architecturally designed buildings and world-class infrastructure scattered over 140 hectares of natural bushland. We have a reputation for having one of the most naturally beautiful campuses in Australia and we work hard to protect it.
We have a range of state of the art sport and recreation facilities available depending on your campus. We also have numerous sporting clubs.
Excellent education but international students need more support
Honestly such a great time meeting new people and settling into a new environment, the Uni of Newcastle makes life easy with easy access to everything you need. only here for 2 months and it feels like home! Oh and the surf here is sick haha
I have been offered good opportunities at the University of Newcastle in all aspects of my course. However I would prefer to have had stronger relationships withy lecturers and to be able to approach them more.
