Overview

During the Software Engineering undergraduate program from University of New Brunswick students will learn how to develop and maintain reliable, safe, affordable, and efficient software systems that satisfy customer requirements. They will also gain the skills and knowledge needed to work on large and expensive software systems that often have safety-critical applications.

Software Engineering is a joint program in the Faculty of Computer Science and Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The program is available as a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree.

Accreditation

The program is the only Software Engineering program in Atlantic Canada accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB), and one of only 14 CEAB-accredited programs in Canada. The program is also accredited by the Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS).
