Description
The Dr. Joe Media Scholarship was established by the family of Dr. Joe Misiewicz, former professor and chairperson of the Department of Media at Ball State. The award honors Dr. Joe for his commitment to the department, his passion for teaching, and his contribution to the field of broadcast media over the years.

Eligibility
- Actively enrolled as a major or minor in the Department of Media at Ball State, preferably in the media promotion and management concentration.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA overall on a 4.0 scale.
- Junior standing (60+ credits) at the time of application.
- Demonstrated leadership at Ball State.
- Enrolled for a semester that falls within the 12 months immediately following the announcement of the award.
