Overview

The main aim of the Translation programme at the Stellenbosch University is to train you as a researcher in translation/interpreting and editing. A further aim is to train you as a language practitioner in two of the following languages: Afrikaans, English, an African language, South African Sign Language, Chinese, French, Dutch and German. Not all the language options will necessarily be offered each year.

This implies that your original qualification documents (academic transcript and accompanying degree certificate) which you recieved upon graduation must be stamped and signed by the awarding institution. Qualifications shorter than 12 months in duration will not be considered
