Description

The Undergraduate Lab Travel Awards - In Province are intended to help offset the travel costs that students incur in order to take part in the required laboratory component of Athabasca University (AU) undergraduate science courses.

Eligibility

  • They are awarded to current AU undergraduate students who have successfully completed (passed) a 3 credit science course, in which travel to complete lab work occurred between October 16, of the previous year and October 15, of the current year. Successful completion of the science course is required.
  • Preference will be given to those students that have never received an undergraduate lab travel award. Students traveling for LABB 207 who have successfully completed BIOL 204 and/or BIOL 205 are eligible to apply for this award.

n applicant must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this award:

  • Be either an undergraduate program or unclassified AU student.
  • Successful completion in the science course (pass), for which lab travel was required.
