Description
If you are an international secondary-school student entering an undergraduate program at the university on a study permit and are currently studying outside of Canada, you can apply for the university's Global Leadership Award (GLA).
Benefits
The recipient of this international student award will receive $30,000 CAD each year, over four years. The recipient must be outstanding academically and have made notable contributions to extracurricular or community activities.
Eligibility
The recipient must:
- Be in their final year of secondary school, entering their first undergraduate university degree.
- Be studying in a secondary school outside of Canada.
- Demonstrate personal leadership and excellence in extracurricular activities beyond academic requirements, and/or significant contributions to their community or family.
- Have an excellent academic record—an 'A' average or equivalent grading based on their secondary school evaluation.
Please note: If the recipient's Canadian immigration status changes, the value of the award will change.

To apply for the Global Leadership Award:
Complete the online application. Printed application forms will be discarded.
Complete Scholarship Reference Forms, submitted by referees only.
Applications must be submitted no later than February 13. Late or incomplete applications will not be reviewed, nor will applicants be notified.
