Description

The Beit Strathclyde Scholarships have been set up to fully fund one student of exceptional academic calibre from Malawi, Zimbabwe or Zambia to complete a Master’s degree in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Strathclyde

Eligibility

  • Students wishing to be considered for the BStrath Scholarship must be resident in Malawi, Zimbabwe or Zambia at the time of application, and planning to study for a one-year Master's degree in one of the eight departments in the Faculty of Engineering at Strathclyde:
  • Architecture
  • Biomedical Engineering
  • Chemical & Process Engineering
  • Civil & Environmental Engineering
  • Design, Manufacture & Engineering Management
  • Electronic & Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering
  • Naval Architecture, Ocean & Marine Engineering
  • Students must hold a good Engineering degree from a recognised University, and demonstrate the potential to rise to a position of leadership and influence in their home country on completion of their studies.
  • Applications for the Scholarship must be received by the Beit Trust by the stated application deadline each year.
