Description
The fund supports students whose available income is insufficient to meet essential living and study costs. Awards are made as non-repayable grants and cannot be used to pay tuition fees.

Eligibility
To be eligible students must:
- be from Scotland, England, Wales or Northern Ireland
- be registered and attending an eligible course
- have taken out their full entitlement to a student loan
- have exhausted all other possible sources of funding available to them
- be able to prove they are in financial difficulty
EU and international students are not eligible to apply to this fund.
