Overview
At the BA Fashion and Textile Design (Hons) course offered at the Robert Gordon University you will learn to combine traditional craft skills with digital technology, with a focus on research methods, visualisation including CAD, design process, critical and contextual studies, marketing and professional studies.
You are encouraged to express a personal design signature whilst responding to a range of studio and workshop-based live projects. You will design for niche markets or in partnership with industry, providing a very ‘real’ experience of how the role of the designer impacts on and responds to the consumer.
You are encouraged to develop your own pathway within the specialism and to acquire the skills necessary to pursue a career within today’s dynamic fashion and textile professions.
