Since its establishment in 1906, EDHEC has built its reputation on pragmatism and a teaching approach focused on business. The key tools, knowledge and behaviour of business are passed on to generations of managers.
For more than 10 years, EDHEC Business School has been pursuing an active policy of dynamic research based on 5 research centres, 8 research chairs, 2 innovation centres and an academic community represented by more than 160 world-class professors and researchers, a number that has increased by more than 25% over the last 5 years. Allocating more than 20% of its annual resources to research, EDHEC sets itself apart by its historical "Research for Business" positioning and the development of distinctive fields of excellence.
The company is the focal point of EDHEC’s plan, and its reason for being. Aside from the special links formed between centres of research and expertise and many international groups, EDHEC maintains close ties with the corporate world, with which it co-designs its teaching and anticipates its graduates’ future careers.
Two academic campuses in Lille and Nice offer facilities and equipment at the highest level worldwide, and host all of EDHEC’s activities from initial training to ongoing development and research. The campuses in Paris, London and Singapore are primarily dedicated to ongoing training and research, and interact with companies in both of these fields.
All students enrolled at Edhec are automatically members of the Library until they have completed the viva voce for their dissertation or their thesis.

The Lille Campus showcases the School’s dynamism and innovative strategy, and is designed as an environmentally responsible, entrepreneurial and open facility. Located in 8.5 hectares of landscaped grounds, the Lille Campus houses numerous amenities including 2,000m² of student association premises, three restaurants, a 3,200m² sports building, 40 classrooms, 20 lecture theatres, a 750-seat auditorium and a student residence.
The Campus is designed to host 4,000 students, of whom a third comes from outside France, and offers cutting-edge technological facilities, including a digitally networked library open to all students and a trading room, a key training facility in finance.
Sport is in EDHEC’s DNA. It provides direction and fulfilment, and plays an important role in the programmes as well as in life on campus. Team spirit, commitment, social inclusiveness and respect – values in line with EDHEC’s business view – make practising a sport a natural part of the educational programme. Sport teams are also a major driver of cohesion in the EDHEC Community, which meets regularly to support students who are registered in internal and external competitions and events.

I really like my school, how diverse and international it is... most, if not all of our classes are very interesting and very useful in the future
The school is very demanding but very innovative in its way and with a wide variety of courses to choose. People are very friendly if you try to speak french and to participate in activities. Anyway when I was there (2016) the school's international association was not that active. I would therefore recommend it as a nice way to know a new particular culture and live great...
