Students are encouraged to play an active role in their education and spend a significant part of their studies working on full-scale projects.
Problem and project-based learning is a student-centred approach which stimulates the desire to learn and autonomy. The project is the backbone of the course: instead of following lectures then taking exams to check what has been learnt, students, from the first year, spend an increasing part of their time working in teams on complex problems and projects designed by teachers, and guided by a tutor.

The INSA of Toulouse proposes accommodation to exchange students enrolled in its academic institution partners.
Students and staff can use INSA’s central Library (Bib'INSA) and the libraries of the different departments.
The software used by Bib'INSA gives access to the catalogues of 11 university libraries in Toulouse (including UPS and ENSEEIHT) and it is possible to borrow the works found in these catalogues.
The Welfare service is run by a doctor, a nurse and social worker.
Life at INSA is very rich thanks to the many clubs and associations which allow students and staff to take part in a variety of humanitarian, sports, economic or cultural activities.
Students can practise any of the 20 sports organized by the « association sportive ».

Totally unorganised and I think the niveau of the studies is rather low
It is a school with many different specialization (computer science, mathematics, civil engineering, electrical engineering...). I chose the computer and network engineering specialization which offers the ability to learn more about various subjects : programming, security, telecommunication, networking...
I would summarise my study experience as a very good one. In my college, courses are provided by motivated teachers (research teachers). Arrangements are put in place to facilitate the education of athletes / high-level artists and people with difficulties. There are people from everywhere, what makes the university international.
