The foundation was a first step to establish a university in Semarang, namely Semarang University, that officially opened on January 9, 1957, and MR. Imam Bardjo was the first President of the university.

Tax Accounting Study Programme, Vocational School
During my studies at Diponegoro University, particularly in the Tax Accounting Department, I experienced many benefits. These ranged from the ease of obtaining lecture materials and a student service system that could be accessed through any device, to satisfactory academic services. This study programme also required students to obtain certification, so that we, the students, were equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to enter the world of work.
