Overview

The Urban and Regional Planning program of Diponegoro University is one leading planning programs in Indonesia that intends to produce urban and regional planners who are competent to analyze and study actual planning problems and formulate planning policies as an instrument to deal with the development problems.

Key Facts

Graduates of BPURP will have competencies as described as follows:

Planner, who able to prepare regional and city plan documents according to the chosen process, procedure and approach;

Policy formulator, who able to formulate alternative policy proposals as a follow-up to planning;

Implementation programme compilers, who able to translate policies into development programmes and action plans;

Implementation programme appraiser, who able to assess the implementation programme in accordance with social, economic, environmental and institutional principles;

Evaluators of plans, policies and programmes, who can conduct ex-post and ex-ante evaluations of development plans, policies, and programmes.
