History
AUC was founded in 1978 upon a belief in the need for visionary, skilled, compassionate doctors. The university was originally chartered by the Government of Montserrat in the British West Indies. In 1995, however, AUC relocated to the island of St. Maarten after Montserrat’s Soufrière Hills Volcano erupted and left much of the island buried or uninhabitable.

Good
What did you really like about it and what can be improved? How would you summarise your overall study experience
Great social life, average teaching quality
My experience was average. The course content was relevant to my career goals, but the communication from the department was often lacking, which led to confusion during final projects. It is a good university if you are very independent and proactive
