History
The University of Law Business School faculty was first launched in 2016 – the same year The University of Law was voted 1st for student satisfaction in the National Student Survey. The business school shares The University of Law’s heritage, which reaches back over 100 years, and also shares their long-established expertise in delivering quality education.
Education
The University of Law Business School excels in supportive learning development to prepare you for the world of business. Their expertise in providing legal education has been readily adapted to develop strategic and managerial skills to prepare you for a career in this sector. Using many of the same effective techniques as their legal programmes, the business school takes pride in creating a well-equipped, practical learning environment, using contemporary case studies to develop credible workplace skills.
Programmes are accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), giving you student membership for the duration of the course, meaning you will also earn a CMI qualification alongside your degree.
Research
During your programme, you will have access to the CMI-operated ManagementDirect online resource portal, which will give you access to over 15,000 publications on management and leadership. Here, you will also find company and industry reports, videos, document templates, checklists, self-assessments, and a self-directed learning toolkit. The CMI online mentoring service will match mentors to mentees, and has a community of over 120,000 members.
Career
The University of Law Business School makes employability a firm focus.
