In 1917 Bentley School of Accounting and Finance is founded in Boston by Harry C. Bentley, a pioneering business educator and author who taught accounting at Boston University and other area schools and wanted to use his own methods in accounting education.

The Multicultural Center, located on the 3rd floor of the Student Center, is the hub of our efforts to create a diverse and inclusive campus community. You can do it all in the Student Center. At the heart of life on campus, the newly renovated Student Center is home to The 921 Dining Room, The Equity Center, Spiritual Life Center, Cultural Lounge, The Bubble, Russo’s Café, Argo Tea, and a number of student-centered Bentley offices.
The building is home to Einstein's Deloitte Café, The RSM Art Gallery, Client Services, the ESOL Center, and the Writing Center. With 743 comfortable study seats, 186 study carrels, 83 public computer workstations, 24 group study rooms, a research instruction classroom, and wireless network access throughout, the Bentley Library is truly the hub of the academic campus.

We offer a full range of health services. All full-time students may take advantage of our services, regardless of insurance. You do not need to have the student health insurance plan through Bentley to be seen in the center.
In 1968, Bentley moved from downtown Boston to Waltham, Massachusetts, to accommodate an increasing number of students. The first buildings on the Waltham campus were built between 1965 and 1968. Today, the campus stretches across 163 acres (0.66 km2) of land, and is accessible by the MBTA 554 bus.
Bentley University's campus is divided into three parts: Upper Campus, Lower Campus and North Campus.
The Residential Center provides safe, inclusive, and socially just living and learning experiences through on-campus student housing. In addition to the intercollegiate and intramural programs, Bentley University offers a number of club sports for students to take part in.
