As a student, you’ll visit the Center for Careers, Life, and Service to start talking through what you want your life to become, and to connect with ways of getting there. You’ll make discoveries, develop new insights, gain experience, broaden your network, and, ultimately, like the many Grinnellians before you, confidently go forth to lead a life of meaning and purpose.
Surroundings play a vital part in your growth—as a student, citizen, and human being. We pride ourselves on making Grinnell a safe, comfortable living space. This strong sense of community and supportive environment is designed so that every step of the journey, you can feel confident and empowered to explore who you are. This campus will be your new home. That’s why we work to make it a place where you’re comfortable. Where you can connect with others. And a place you can’t wait to come back to. We’re here to make you feel at home, make room for your needs, and always make time for good Grinnellian conversation.
Grinnellians love to dive deep into inquiry and lose themselves in discovery. But to push yourself academically, you’ll need to make time to refuel, recharge, and refresh. And just like with your studies, you’re in charge of what that looks like for you. Are you interested in joining an intramural sports team? Morning meditation? Swimming laps after class? Take advantage of our campus resources.
Where you choose to live is a big decision, whether it’s for college or not. Surroundings affect how we learn, how we grow, and where we go next. At Grinnell, we not only embrace the world, we embrace you for who you are. In fact, you’ll find culture of inclusivity and respect as the perfect setting to settle in, grow immensely, and go forth from. Partly because you know you’ll always have this place to come back to.

The school is the best technical college as it uses practicals and physical to teach , which makes it fun and exciting to learn. The facilitators are friendly and easy to talk and discuss issues or problems .
The college is specialized in education. My experience was exceptional since the staff is very helpful and is ready to guide for any issue the student have. The study program is diverse. One learns about education from different perspectives from all around the world. I had the chance to have teacher training in different schools with different mentors and had a vast experience.
The college is in a rural setting with a small, tightly-knit community of students. What's great about this is that you at least know most people in the college unlike in big universities. The college is also generous with financial aid packages for students. The amazing thing about the financial aid program is that need-based financial aid is available for international students as well, which is only provided by a handful of universities in the US. The academics, outside-the-classroom opportunities and professors are all great. You should NOT go to Grinnell if it's really important for you to be able to go out and do a lot of city-stuff. It's a rural area college and most of the great things happen within the college.
