History
UCW was founded in 2004 by Dr. David Strong, an accomplished academic and distinguished scientist who served as President of the University of Victoria for more than a decade. The vision was to create an independent, accessible university with a practical focus and an emphasis on teaching excellence.
Education
UCW’s flexible program delivery allows you to study online or on-campus, so you can choose the option that works best for you. And with four intakes a year in January, April, July and October, you don’t have to wait and can start your degree when you’re ready. Courses are also offered on the weekends and in the evenings so you can set a schedule that works for you.
