Founded in 1895 as the Montgomery Preparatory School, WVU Tech has a rich history of academic excellence. WVU Tech is located in Beckley, West Virginia.
WVU Tech consists of two academic colleges: the College of Business, Humanities and Social Sciences and the Leonard C. Nelson College of Engineering and Sciences. The University offers more than 30 academic programs, including 9 ABET-accredited engineering programs. With an average class size of 17 students, our classes provide students with personalized attention in a supportive environment.
