Language Studies Bachelor's in Slovakia

Slovakia is a relatively small, land-locked country in Central Europe with a predominantely mountainous landscape. Slovakia is one of the few former communist countries to be simultaneously part of the European Union, Eurozone, NATO and the Schengen Area.

Language Studies degrees focus on two main aspects: the first is teaching students at least one foreign language, like English, German, French, Spanish, etc. The second is exploring the structure and functions of language and communication and their impact on human societies. Future graduates develop communication, analytical and research skills and find work as translators, interpreters, copywriters, editors, journalists, teachers, etc.
