The Linguistics and Language Studies BA program at York University examines the building blocks of languages, how they develop over time, how people learn languages, how regional accents differ and more. Career Opportunities

Hands-on opportunities include collaborating with Linguistics professors as a research assistant, language teaching practicums in Cuban classrooms with our D-TEIL (Discipline of Teaching English as an International Language) Certificate or working with the Ojibwa community of Toronto.
