Overview

We'll show you how to apply geographical concepts and skills to global challenges such as climate change, poverty and inequality, geopolitical uncertainty, urbanisation and food insecurity.

Key Features 

  • Integral to your degree is field-based learning, independent research and training in qualitative, quantitative and geospatial research methods. 
  • We use the space around us as our living laboratory: you'll spend time learning in Sheffield - a city shaped by its rich industrial heritage - and exploring the Peak District during field classes.

This course has been accredited by the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG). Accredited degree programmes contain a solid academic foundation in geographical knowledge and skills, and prepare graduates to address the needs of the world beyond higher education.
