Our four-year Pharmacology with Study in Industry degree from University of Bristol is similar to the BSc Pharmacology but gives you the opportunity to spend your third year gaining valuable experience of how pharmacology is related to the pharmaceutical and associated industries.

Overview

Placements are available by applying directly to providers in a process facilitated by the University. Placements may be in major pharmaceutical companies and other health, biotech and research companies in the UK and abroad.

In your final year from the Pharmacology with Study in Industry programme from University of Bristol you will undertake additional advanced study instead of the research project.

You can apply for the MSci degree directly or transfer onto it from the BSc Pharmacology degree after the first year.

    PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English Academic) is a language test that enables students to demonstrate their writing, listening, speaking, and reading skills when applying to study in English. Delivered and marked by computer, it reports on a scale between 10 and 90.

General Requirements

  • A-level Standard offer: AAB including Chemistry and one of the following subjects: Biology or Human Biology, Physics, Mathematics or Further Mathematics
  • A-level Contextual offer: ABC or BBB including BB in Chemistry and one of the following subjects: Biology or Human Biology, Physics, Mathematics or Further Mathematics
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma Standard offer: 34 points overall with 17 at Higher Level, including 6, 5 (in any order) at Higher Level in Chemistry and one of the following subjects: Biology, Physics, Mathematics
  • Cambridge Pre-U offer: Requirements are as for A-levels, where Grade A* is D2, A is D3, B is M2, and C is M3
