Overview

You’ll study key areas of psychology such as biopsychology, developmental psychology, personality and individual differences, alongside criminology-focused topics including forensic psychology and criminal behaviour. Through this, you’ll gain insight into why people engage in crime and how factors such as family, society, peer influence and biology can shape behaviour.

From the start of the Psychology with Criminology (Hons) course at University of Huddersfield , you’ll be encouraged to apply theory to real-life situations. You’ll explore current and sometimes challenging issues through case studies and applied learning, helping you understand how psychology and criminology are used within the criminal justice system and related professional settings.
