Overview
The Accountancy (Hons) program offered by University of Huddersfield prepares students to understand how organisations are financed and managed in order to become accountants. We’ll look at how companies are run, and then give you the opportunity to choose particular topics to study in more detail.
The course offers an optional one-year (48 weeks) work placement after the second year, in the UK or abroad. This paid position provides the opportunity for further personal development and to see accountancy and finance in action, helping you develop the knowledge and skills obtained on the course.
Our Placement Office works with national and international employers to ensure excellent work experience opportunities are available to you on placement courses as well as giving advice in areas such as interview skills and preparing CVs and covering letters.
