Overview

In year one, you’ll learn about organisational costs and business administration and how to set up an investment plan for regional, national and international companies. In your second year, you’ll hit the ground running with business issues, which you’ll have to solve in hands-on group projects. In year three, you’ll start your journey as a ‘manager of change’ in a small and medium-sized enterprise, a government institution or a multinational before finishing off with a minor and thesis to get you ready for your dream career. 

The International Financial Management and Control - 3 Years programme offered by The Hague University of Applied Sciences (THUAS) will give you the skills you need to improve your world – and be financially independent. You’ll be ready to deal with business and management decisions from both entrepreneurial and socially responsible perspectives.

English Language Requirements

    The TOEFL iBT ® measures your English-language abilities in an academic setting. The test has four sections (reading, listening, speaking, and writing), each with a score range of 0-30, for a total score range of 0-120.

    The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00. General Requirements

Non-Dutch Diploma

  • IFMC is intensive. You’ll need to be highly motivated and independent to take this programme. 
  • You’ll have to do an interview to determine if you have the right qualities as part of the admission process. If you can’t attend an interview in person, we’ll set up a telephone or Skype interview. 
  • Before we can decide on your eligibility, we’ll need to assess your secondary school certificate. 
  • To make sure your certificate is evaluated fairly, we work with NUFFIC, an organisation that specialises in the assessment of international education qualification.

Dutch Diploma

  • To begin the three-year IFMC bachelor degree programme, you should have a VWO diploma with the appropriate profile.

Funding

Do you come from outside the EEA (EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) or Switzerland and want to do your bachelor degree at THUAS? You can apply for the €5,000 Holland Scholarship financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and Dutch universities.
