Overview
The Communication program at Bond University, which is situated within the Faculty of Society & Design, offers you the ideal mix of theory and practice, combining foundational studies in communication and media with focused studies in the professional disciplines of public relations, advertising and journalism. It also allows you to pursue focused studies in the fields of communication and society, corporate storytelling, creative writing, digital media, film and tv, media studies, and social media as well as a combination of these fields. Altogether, the degree offers you a stimulating course of study and excellent career prospects.
As part of the degree, you may complete a for-credit internship that allows you to develop your communication knowledge and skills in a workplace setting. The Faculty of Society & Design has developed industry partnerships with leading organisations, allowing you the potential to intern with businesses including: the Australian Good Food Guide, Channel 7 Australia, Channel 10 Australia, Gold Coast Bulletin, and Smart Erickson. Bond’s dedicated Career Development Centre can assist you in finding internships and work experience, allowing you to further develop your skill set. You will also be able to find mentors that are interested in and influential to your career ambitions. At Bond, you learn from nationally and internationally recognised academics in a collaborative environment.
