General requirements
Age Requirement:
- All 16 year olds wishing to join an INTO City, University of London International Foundation must meet our current entry requirements and be 16 years old on the start date of their INTO City, University of London course.
- Completion of 12 years of schooling (or the local equivalent to meet the same standard) with good grades.
- Students intending to progress to Journalism or Law: Some previous familiarity with arts, humanities or social science subjects may be desirable.
- Applicants without appropriate formal music qualifications must provide evidence of their musical skills and knowledge through submission of a portfolio of work samples.
English Language Requirements:
3 Terms: IELTS 5.5 (with a minimum of 5.0 in writing) or equivalent.
- 4 Terms: IELTS 5.0 (with a minimum of 4.5 in writing) or equivalent.

Funding
- Up to £4,000 one-off tuition fee reduction to help towards your first year of study at INTO City, University of London.
- To be considered for an INTO City Foundation Scholarship, you must hold an offer to study an International Foundation program at INTO City, University of London. If you’re using an education counselor, contact them to apply.
