Overview

During this Fashion (Hons) course from University of Sunderland, you’ll work in specialist fashion studios and textile and print facilities. With support from our expert staff, you’ll use industry-relevant tools, including Adobe Creative Cloud and CLO3D. Through live and industry-informed briefs, you'll develop portfolios and learn from visiting practitioners and creative partners who'll share their knowledge and experience with you. You can also apply for an optional industry placement year between your second and final year.

General requirements

The typical offer is 96–112 UCAS Tariff points from acceptable Level 3 qualifications, including A levels, T Levels, BTEC qualifications, Scottish/Irish Highers, Access to HE and the International Baccalaureate.

You also need three passes at GCSE grade C or above. This must include maths and English language, or a minimum of Level 2 Key Skills in Communication and Application of Number. If you've studied for a GCSE that has a numerical grade, you'll need to achieve a grade 4 or above.

They'd like to see evidence of your creative potential. You'll be expected to prepare a portfolio of your creative work which shows what you have done so far and what interests you.
