University of Sunderland awards scholarships, bursaries, tuition fee reductions and discounts that help you cover existing tuition and living costs.

This award provides a £1,500 cash award in each year of study, helping you access higher education with greater ease.

Eligibility

East Durham College Partnership Award is for students progressing directly from East Durham College to start an eligible full-time undergraduate course in autumn. To be considered, you must:

  • Apply to the University of Sunderland by Wednesday 14 January (if you apply after this date you may still be eligible, provided you meet the condition outlined at point 2).
  • If you apply by 14 January, you must make the University of Sunderland your firm choice by Wednesday 3 June (if you apply after Wednesday 14 January you must make the University of Sunderland your firm choice by Tuesday 30 June to remain eligible for the award).
  • Enrol on your course by Tuesday 6 October.
