Overview
Economics at University of Southampton is designed to strengthen your quantitative skills, but it has a strong focus on qualitative analysis and real-world applications. Using the main conceptual and analytical tools used by economists, you'll learn how to interpret and visualize data. You'll also learn how to convey complex economic ideas to non-specialists by developing your communication skills.
To study this degree you do not need to have an A-level in mathematics, and you do not need to have studied economics before.
