Description
The Southampton undergraduate bursary is a Higher Education institution (HEI) bursary. HEI bursaries do not need to be repaid.
Benefits
If you started a new course in or after September and your household income is up to £23,200, you will receive £2,000. If your income is between £23,201 and £36,200, you will receive £1,000.
Eligibility
To get this bursary you must:
- be enrolled full time on an undergraduate or integrated master's course
- pay the full UK home tuition fees
- have a household income of £36,200 or less

Application deadline
You need to apply for a Student Finance maintenance loan and choose the option to have your loan means tested. Student Finance will then complete a household income assessment. With your or your parent/supporter’s consent, Student Finance will share the information with the University.
