The Access to Higher Education Diploma - Science course from West London College aims to provide a balance of essential study skills with specialist subject knowledge to prepare you for the academic and practical rigours of undergraduate study in Science. It must however be noted that the Access to HE Diploma does not provide guaranteed entry to UK Higher Education.

GCSE English at grade 4 (C) or higher

We will accept Functional Skills at Level 2 as an equivalent, but recommend that you check the entry requirements of your chosen university before applying, as many will only accept GCSEs for entry onto their degree programmes.

You will also have an interview with our course teachers at enrolment to check that the course is right for you.

If you did not study English in the UK, you should have a minimum of 6.00 in IELTS, alongside a UK or equivalent international qualification (a NARIC check will be required).
