For direct entry students, who will select one of the following options as part of the The Aesthetics (Top-up) (Hons) degree from University College Birmingham :

Training & Education Pathway – continuation of the Level 5 module, The Training Cycle, progressing onto The Training Enterprise. This pathway is suitable for those wishing to pursue a career as a brand trainer, product trainer, coach and mentor, education and training manager, training academy owner, or lecturer (further formal qualifications required).

or

Business Pathway – continuation of the Level 5 module Venture Concept and Planning, leading onto Venture Creator. This pathway aligns with careers such as business development manager, clinic or academy manager, sales/area manager, or clinic owner.

Career opportunities

Job roles are predominantly managerial, commercial, and training-focused. A specific option pathway is available for students continuing their studies (if they have completed the FdA Aesthetics degree module at Level 5)

Academic: A relevant foundation degree in the area of aesthetics, with 240 credits. Or alternatively, an OTHM Level 5 Extended Diploma in Contemporary Skin Rejuvenation.

Work experience: Students will also be considered if applying with significant industry experience. We will explore with you whether your experience permits exemptions of previous modules based on your experiential learning.
