Overview
Fashion Communication and Marketing at Raffles Milano focuses on fashion, communication, branding and marketing, preparing students for the evolving fashion industry.
Professional Opportunities
At the end of this three-year course, students will be able to face the profoundly changing scenario of the fashion system, applying roles capable of connecting creative skills with management skills. They could apply for new interdisciplinary roles linked to the research of eco-sustainable materials, communication, distribution and marketing such as trend forecaster, art director, press officer, image consultant, fashion blogger, fashion manager, fashion buyer, visual merchandiser.
Accreditation
Upon completion, students receive a Raffles Certificate documenting their credits and learning outcomes, not recognised by MUR. They may also obtain a Raffles certificate from Raffles University. Students seeking an MUR-recognised qualification may apply to an accredited AFAM programme leading to a First Level Academic Diploma in Fashion Design under Ministerial Decree No. 1216 of 31 August 2023.
Programme Structure
All students begin with a shared foundation in Fashion Design, developing creative, technical, cultural and methodological skills for the contemporary fashion system.
Students can deepen their studies in Fashion Communication and Marketing, combining fashion culture, visual communication, marketing, digital media and business.
The first year builds foundations in fashion history, photography, visual communication, publishing, PR, retail and marketing. The second explores styling, trends, advertising, copywriting, editorial communication, merchandising and digital media, connecting creativity with consumer and brand strategy.
The third year focuses on strategic thinking, sustainability, contemporary media and digital technologies, culminating in advanced projects and a thesis.
Graduates are prepared for careers in fashion communication, marketing, branding, publishing, styling, creative direction, content and digital media.
Audience
The course is aimed at candidates with a high school diploma and candidates from Italian and foreign universities who are driven by a passion for design, style, and fashion and eager to pursue a career in the international fashion system.

Steven Trow: Luxury and fashion executive with 25+ years of experience at Hermès and Gucci Group. Lecturer specialising in luxury business, fashion marketing and career counselling.
