You’ll be taught by experienced lecturers who are active researchers and practitioners in forensic psychology. They’ll guide you through real-life issues, using up-to-date research and case studies.

This course is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS). If you graduate with at least a 2:2 degree, you’ll gain Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership, which is the first step to becoming a professional Forensic Psychologist.

Psychology gives you skills that are useful in many careers. Some of our graduates go on to study forensic psychology at postgraduate level and become Chartered Forensic Psychologists. Others work in settings such as prisons, secure hospitals, probation services, courts, and rehabilitation centres. Our typical offer is 104-120 UCAS Tariff points, from a combination of acceptable Level 3 qualifications which may include: A Levels, T Levels, BTEC Diplomas/Extended Diplomas, Scottish and Irish Highers, Access to HE Diplomas, or the International Baccalaureate. T Levels must be in a related subject.

You also need three passes at GCSE grade C or above. This must include maths and English language, or a minimum of Level 2 Key Skills in Communication and Application of Number. If you've studied for a GCSE that has a numerical grade, you'll need to achieve a grade 4 or above.
