Premedical Program New Anglia University

Programme Structure

• Delivered over one year, the Premedical Program consists of 90 credits organised across three academic terms.
• During Term I, students study Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Algebra. Term II covers Introduction to Biochemistry, Psychology, Introduction to Anatomy, and Calculus. In Term III, the curriculum progresses to Medical Terminology, Introduction to Physiology, Introduction to Microbiology, and Sociology.
• Students complete 30 credits in each term, moving from fundamental scientific and mathematical subjects toward disciplines more closely related to medical education.

Audience

This online Premedical Program is intended for high school graduates who plan to study medicine and need additional academic preparation before entering the Doctor of Medicine program. It is suitable for students seeking to strengthen their knowledge of the sciences and build the academic foundation required for further medical study. 

Lecturers

Students are taught by faculty with expertise across the subjects that make up the Premedical curriculum. These include biology, chemistry, physics, anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, mathematics, psychology, and sociology. Faculty combine subject-specific instruction with academic guidance to help students prepare for progression into medical education.
