Programme Structure

The Premedical Program runs for one year and comprises 90 credits divided equally across three academic terms.
Term I covers Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Algebra. In Term II, students study Introduction to Biochemistry, Psychology, Introduction to Anatomy, and Calculus. Term III introduces Medical Terminology, Introduction to Physiology, Introduction to Microbiology, and Sociology.
Each term carries 30 credits, allowing students to progress systematically from core scientific and mathematical subjects to areas more directly connected with medical education.

Audience

The Premedical Program is designed for high school graduates planning to pursue medicine who need further academic preparation before entering the Doctor of Medicine program. It is particularly suited to students who want to develop a stronger scientific foundation and prepare themselves for the academic requirements of medical education.

The Premedical Program is intended for students planning to continue into medical education who would benefit from further preparation in the sciences before beginning the Doctor of Medicine program.
