On this Creative Pedagogies course at the Leeds Beckett University, you’ll explore a range of creative pedagogical tools and international perspectives. Your learning will provide you with a rich cultural lens and intercultural dialogue across countries.
This course will empower you to:
- Promote greater understanding of creative pedagogies (pedagogy, curriculum and assessment) and their grounding in teacher and learner creativity
- Promote holistic learning, interdisciplinary thinking, critical thinking, wellbeing, global citizenship skills within educational settings
- Empower learners to become emotionally and culturally literate and connect educators globally through the approach you take to learning
- Activate social change through education
- Support the delivery of a wide range of academic syllabise and exam boards, and apply this to curricula from across the world

Programme Structure
Curriculum includes:
- International Creative Pedagogies
- Each module on our distance learning courses is individually designed to maximise your learning so study requirements will vary. If you choose to study this course by distance learning, as a general guideline, you’ll need to allocate around 10 hours per week to complete each module.
- You’ll also need a further five hours for additional reading and assignments. However, this may vary depending on the module. Teaching and learning will be delivered using a range of interactive resources.
- This typically includes audio and video content, group discussions, reflective exercises, quizzes, online reading and much more.
- All these resources are delivered through our Virtual Learning Environment and can be accessed at a time and place that suits you.

General requirements
- GCSE English Language and Maths at Grade 4 or above (Grade C for GCSEs taken before 2017) or equivalent. Key Skills Level 2, Functional Skills Level 2 and the Certificate in Adult Literacy and Adult Numeracy are accepted in place of GCSEs.
- Access to HE Diploma: Pass overall with a minimum of 112 UCAS tariff points.
- International baccalaureate: 112 tariff points or a score of 28 from the IB diploma. This should include a minimum of 3 Highers with 2 at grade H5 or above.
