Description
The Primary Carers Bursary is available to eligible full-time undergraduate students who continue to have responsibility as the primary carer for a dependent adult while studying. Eligibility is reassessed each academic year for students wishing to continue receiving the bursary.
Benefits
Up to £2,000 per year, assessed based on individual circumstances.
Eligibility
You may be entitled to the Primary Carers Bursary, provided that you meet four essentialcriteria:
- You must provide evidence that you have responsibility as a primary carer fora dependent adult.
- You provide a copy of your Student Finance Entitlement Summary Letter from StudentFinance England for the current academic year, demonstrating an assessed householdincome of less than £25,000 per annum.
- You must remain fully enrolled on a full-time undergraduate course up to the payment ofeach instalment of the bursary in each academic year that you are assessed as eligiblefor the bursary.
