Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science / Bachelor of Business Murdoch University

Overview

Your studies are centred on your sport and exercise science degree, where you’ll develop a deep understanding of how the body responds to physical activity, from performance and recovery to health and rehabilitation. You’ll explore areas such as exercise physiology, biomechanics, motor control and sport psychology, building the knowledge needed to assess movement, analyse performance and design effective exercise programs. At the same time, your business degree gives you insight into how organisations operate, grow and engage with clients and communities. You can choose to specialise in Marketing, focusing on promotion, branding and audience engagement, or Management, where you’ll develop leadership, strategy and organisational skills relevant to sport, health and fitness environments. You’ll combine theory with hands-on application in purpose-built facilities, including specialised labs and performance spaces with industry-standard technology. You’ll gain experience working with athletes and community populations, applying evidence-based approaches to improve health and performance.
