This dynamic course combines contemporary business theory with practical, hands-on learning to help you develop the confidence, creativity and commercial awareness needed to succeed in today’s fast-changing business world. You will explore areas such as strategic management, innovation, leadership and entrepreneurship, while developing the skills to launch your own venture or drive change within existing organisations.
Through experiential learning, you will work on real-world business challenges, develop and pitch your own business ideas, and collaborate with students from diverse international backgrounds. With a strong focus on employability, enterprise and responsible business practice, this course prepares you for a wide range of careers across global organisations, start-ups and self-employment. The Business and Enterprise (Final Year Entry) pogramme is offered at Oxford Brookes University.

Programme Structure

Courses include

Throughout the course, you will explore key areas including entrepreneurship, innovation, strategic business management and emerging technologies. You will develop an enterprising mindset while strengthening your understanding of how organisations grow, adapt and respond to change in a global environment.
A core feature of the programme is applied learning. You will work on practical projects, develop your own business or social enterprise idea, and explore how business can create a positive impact. You will take modules focused on business ideation, launch and entrepreneurial management, culminating in a business pitch to mock investors.
The course also includes dedicated support for academic development, career planning and applied research, helping you graduate with the confidence and skills to progress into employment, further study or self-employment.
