- Our foundation year is an intensive and exciting year of study. Focusing on areas such as the creative industries and video production, you'll create a toolkit of essential academic and practical skills.
- You'll study with dedicated lecturers from UEA’s Interdisciplinary Institute for the Humanities. We’ll support you to work towards your own learning goals in an encouraging, rewarding environment. Alongside Media and Film, you’ll explore a range of related academic subjects, to help you to understand important political, cultural and historical contexts. We’ll help you make connections between different disciplines to spark your curiosity and creativity. On your Media Studies Foundation Year, you’ll have access to all the opportunities and resources that UEA has to offer. This includes our brilliant in-house media facilities(opens in a new window), incorporating a television studio(opens in a new window), so you can hone your practical and creative communication skills. The Media Studies with a Foundation Year (Hons) programme is offered at University of East Anglia.
