On this scientific grounding lays the civil protection part of the course, centred on emergency forecasting, prevention and management, which makes this course unique in the Italian panorama. Having completed the course, students will be able to evaluate environmental quality and propose improvements, to perform physical and chemical, biological and ecotoxicological environmental analysis, to use information and communication tools for civil and environmental protection, to cooperate in the tackling of environmental and civil protection emergencies.
