Overview
The International Relations and Politics Joint Program offers students a uniqueopportunity to earn dual degrees from Caucasus University and New Jersey CityUniversity in an accelerated three-year format.The Program combines the study of international relations, diplomacy and politics with astrong focus on the politics and institutions of the United States. Students spend theirfinal year at New Jersey City University, gaining first-hand academic and cultural exposureto American political life, governance, and international affairs. A flagship feature of theprogram is the United Nations Workshop, built around participation in the NationalModel United Nations simulation in New York, where students develop negotiation,public speaking, coalition-building, and policy-writing skills.The program combines academic excellence, practical training, and internationalexposure to prepare graduates for careers in diplomacy, governance, internationalorganizations, and global affairs.
Accreditation
The program operates within the Georgian national higher education quality assurance framework and follows standards aligned with the European Higher Education Area and the Bologna Process. New Jersey City University is institutionally accredited in the United States and recognized as a public university within the American higher education system.
Programme Structure
200 ECTS (120 US credits) are needed to complete the Joint Bachelor’s Program in International Relations and Politics. Standard duration of the Program is 3 (three) academic years. The first two years (150 ECTS; 75 ECTS a year) are taught at Caucasus University and the last, 3rd year (50 ECTS/30 US credits) at NJCU (USA).
1 ECTS equals 25 study hours, which includes class hours and time spent on independent work (midterm and final examinations, as well as homework assignments).
