Studying this three-year (Hons) History programme at Swansea University opens up a range of exciting career opportunities by helping you develop skills, which are highly valued by employers.

You’ll be taught by staff who are especially strong in the history of gender and sexuality, political thought, welfare and conflict, maritime and imperial history, religious history, science and medicine.

You have the option of a semester abroad. You can choose to go East and study in Hong Kong, China or Singapore or West and study in North America.

  • Advanced Welsh Baccalaureate - applicants will be able to meet our requirements from three A-levels or two A-levels and the Skills Challenge Certificate.
  • Extended Project Qualification - applicants predicted grade B or above in EPQ will receive an offer with a one-grade reduction.  e.g., an offer of AAB would become ABB plus EPQ B.
