Overview

Graduates of Yangzhou University can be competent for project survey, design, construction, management and technical consultation in the field of civil engineering, and become the technical or management backbone with professional engineer ability. Or through continuing education and other lifelong learning channels, they can engage in education, research and technology development in institutions of higher education and research institutes.

Specific objectives are as follows：

1. Knowledge and experience: Be able to master the basic theoretical knowledge andprofessional knowledge of civil engineering, to adapt to the development of civilengineering technology, to integrate multi-disciplinary knowledge, and to providesystematic solutions to complex civil engineering problems.2. Engineering ability: Get good training from civil engineers, and have the ability toengage in project investigation, design, construction, management and technicalconsultation in the field of civil engineering.3. Team and Communication: Have good organization and coordination ability andteamwork spirit, and be proficient in reading foreign materials and writing projectreports, and be able to communicate and exchange effectively against complexengineering problems in the field of civil engineering.4. Social responsibility, physical and mental quality: Have a sense of socialresponsibility, adhering to moral norms, respecting labor, comprehensivelyconsidering the factors of law, culture and sustainable development in engineeringpractice, and actively serving the country and society.5.
