The Animal Science (Hons) from the Department of Animal Science at University Putra Malaysia has well trained academic and support staff with expertise in various disciplines to carry out activities in teaching, research and consultancy. The courses offered and the researches conducted by the department are in the fields of animal science and livestock production, while consultancy services emphasize on animal production systems. The laboratories to undertake these activities have modern and up-to-date equipments. The Department of Animal Science aims to become a center of excellence in animal production through teaching, research and consultancy activities in animal science and animal agriculture.
